This Level 2 Electrical Installation Course will allow you to develop and practise the skills required to become an electrician. This course is designed for people who have already completed our Domestic Electrician Course or Domestic Electrician Package, before progressing onto our Level 3 2365 Electrical Installation Course. The course will be a mixture of home online learning and hands-on training at our centre. By providing as much of the course as possible online, this will allow you to fit the course around your other commitments and complete the course at a pace that suits you.
Our Level 3 2365 Electrical Installation Course is designed to build on from the knowledge and skills you have already developed during our Level 2 2365 Course. This course will bridge the gap between your initial training and the Level 3 NVQ 2357 qualification.
Our 18th Edition course ensure that you are up to date with the latest (BS7671) wiring regulations including the safe use, operation and installation of electrical equipment and systems in line with City & Guilds 2382-22 qualification. This qualification has now been updated to include Amendment 2 which came into effect from April 2022.
This electrical training course combines together the City and Guilds 2391-50 Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and the City and Guilds 2391-51 Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection to deliver a comprehensive programme covering both disciplines. Upon enrolment onto the Level 3 NVQ 2357 you will need to complete a bridging assessment. Successful completion of this assessment, along with your prior knowledge, will lead to completion of the theory modules of the NVQ leaving you to complete the evidence portfolio only. This course consists of you building your evidence portfolio, putting everything you have learnt from your previous courses into practice in the real world and collecting the evidence to show your work. We will oversee the administration of your portfolio and provide feedback on evidence collected as you go along. Upon completion of your portfolio you will need to complete an AM2 assessment. This is a 2 day assessment carried out by an independent assessor (please note this will incur an extra cost). Only after you have successfully passed your AM2 will you gain your diploma qualification.
This City & Guilds 2377-77 practical 2 day course complies with the very latest versions of the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment to the Level 3 award. This is a popular 2 day course and in the UK it is a legal requirement that all commercially used electrical equipment is fully tested and certified for safety purposes. It is an ideal qualification for those electricians wishing to offer another service and for those who need to PAT test equipment for their company, such as caretakers, landlords and building service operatives. The cost of this particular route includes the registration and examination fees for the City & Guilds 2377-77 In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. As part of this course you will be guided through the Portable Appliance Testing process and have the opportunity to gain hands on PAT skills with a variety of the very latest Portable Appliance Testing Equipment presently on the market.
This qualification is designed solely for those experienced persons who are, or have been, working in the Electrotechnical industry, practising as an Electrician, for a minimum of 5 years and who can demonstrate their technical knowledge, performance and competence to the industry standards at Level 3 in one of the occupations of this qualification and in line with the current edition of the IET wiring regulations (BS 7671).
This level 4 electrical design course is for established electrical engineers and will equip you with the knowledge to design and erect an electrical installation, whilst understanding the impact of environmental factors, suitability of routing and purpose. This high-level course is highly regarded in the electrotechnical industry. The course content covers the implications of the wiring regulations for electrical installations in a design environment. Candidates will complete a design assignment totalling around 40 hours of work, in addition, you will undertake a written exam with the time and date set by City & Guilds.

This is a primarily theory-based course and is designed only for qualified and experienced electrical installers who have the knowledge of electrical installations. This qualification covers the installation of dedicated conductive charging equipment for the charging of pure electric and plug-in hybrid electric road vehicles (PHEV) and includes the extended range of electric vehicles (E-REV). It covers the installation of both AC and DC charging equipment intended for plug-in electric vehicles (PEV) complying with BS EN 61851 and “The Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installations”. This course is also essential to meet part of the criteria for applying to join the governments OLEV scheme. After joining the OLEV scheme you can claim the grant offered by OLEV on behalf of your customers providing certain criteria is met. During the course you will also gain experience and get familiar with the latest Electric Vehicle chargers such as the Zappi and Project EV which do not require an earth electrode to be installed and simplifies the installation process.
